AI Safety Week | Day 5: AI Evaluation & Transparency - CIFAR Research Programming

"AI Evaluations for All" will explore the limitations of existing evaluation methods, identify gaps in Canada's evaluation capacity and consider how approaches can evolve alongside increasingly capable AI systems.

"Transparency for Whom?" will examine the technical and societal challenges of AI transparency, including disclosure, incident reporting and accountability as AI systems become more capable and autonomous.

Together, the sessions aim to identify pressing research questions, encourage collaboration and inform practical priorities for AI safety research and policy in Canada.

Attendance: By invitation only. This event is independently organized by CIFAR and is not managed by the AI Safety Foundation.
