Code of Conduct.

AI Safety Week is a professional event. We expect all participants — attendees, speakers, staff, and volunteers — to engage in respectful discourse and to treat others with courtesy and consideration at all times. Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome is not tolerated.

All working sessions are held under the Chatham House Rule. Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of speakers may be revealed without their express consent. This rule exists to enable open, candid conversation.

Photography and audio or video recording are restricted. Do not photograph or record any session, participant, or speaker without explicit permission. Organisers will identify sessions where recording is permitted.

The AI Safety Foundation is the designated organiser of AI Safety Week and is responsible for enforcing this code. Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply immediately. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event, without refund where applicable.
